Hello hello!

Happy new year! Hope the year has started off on a good footing for you.

The new year has begun and everyone everywhere is now on a mission to redefine who they are and what they do. However, in this race to identify with the quote of new year, new me, most of us are forgetting what we really are. We’ve all gone through a lot in 2022 and we need to keep all those lessons and versions of ourselves in mind as we move on. We are fighters and doers but we also are sentimental beings and there is nothing bad about it!

For this first newsletter of the year, I bring to you a poem that is a strong reminder of not forgetting who you are. Here’s presenting ‘This Is Who I Am’ by Megan R. Bentz

This is who I am:

I am a fighter.

I have a lot of baggage from my past.

I may have some experience and some wisdom,

But I know there is a lot more to learn.

I will continue rising from the ashes

Until the end.

Nothing can stop me

From being who I am.
