Finding courage through poetry this week

Hello hello!

This week brings in a lot of firsts for me and I wandered out to find some courage to stand strong and embrace this milestones without any nervousness through poetry. Lo and behold, Brooke Hampton to the rescue!

This amazing short poem talks amazingly about the fact that it is ok to be busy looking for courage to face life’s firsts and to be busy enjoying the present and how it is unfolding. The more one enjoys their present the more they get in touch with themselves and are able to deal with achievements and failure with equal happiness.

As I prepare to embrace the new things coming up, I leave you with this amazing piece and my song for the day!

I’m busy;

but not in the way

most people accept.

I’m busy calming my fear

and finding my courage.

I’m busy listening to my kids.

I’m busy getting in touch

with what is real.

I’m busy growing things and

connecting with the natural world.

I’m busy questioning my answers.

I’m busy being present in my life.
