Doctors!
Selfless humans entrusted with the job of literally keeping us alive.
Today, more than ever, I understand the value and importance of doctors. While these were just another set of professionals who helped us carry out our day to day better, the pandemic showed how important and noble the profession is. If I or many of us are alive and healthy today, the amazing medical professionals in labs and in hospitals around the world have played an instrumental role.

As we celebrate National Doctors' Day (India), here is a poem by Rudyard Kipling that encompasses what wonderful humans doctors are.
Man dies too soon, beside his works half-planned.His days are counted and reprieve is vain:Who shall entreat with Death to stay his hand;Or cloke the shameful nakedness of pain?Send here the bold, the seekers of the way--The passionless, the unshakable of soul,Who serve the inmost mysteries of man's clay,And ask no more than leave to make them whole.
Share this with a doctor you know and thank them for everything they have done for the society. (P.s. To settle the meme debate, dentists are doctors too. Without them you won’t be able to speak or look as good as you do!). Don’t forget to share their reactions with us and the world!
What I’m listening to today: Raaz Tera Mera by Akanksha Sethi (P.s. I’ve actually been listening to this song on loop for days now!)
Happening this weekend: For folks in Pune, I’m performing a new set of poems on Sunday. Event details here.
