Despite The Storms

There is no need to get back up and walk again immediately after a fall but you can at least struggle, crawl and pull yourself behind the nearest tall object that can protect you from the line of fire.

Hello hello!

We are about the embrace the weekend again and although this week might seem to be like the worst one since you had a to of backlog from the festive holidays or just too much to do within the lesser number of days in this work week, the end of this week is almost here!

Let this week symbolize the fact that every storm eventually ends and the amazingness of the land you live in will be back to help you stay calm if not feel happy. I know it’s not easy to just let the work stress go, I’m struggling too but we have to try. There is no need to get back up and walk again immediately after a fall but you can at least struggle, crawl and pull yourself behind the nearest tall object that can protect you from the line of fire. Let this week and today’s poem be one of the bricks on that wall that you are now taking cover behind before you get back up to full strength

Here’s presenting to you Despite the Storms by S.C. Lourie and praying that things get better for you, me and everyone around.

Despite the storms,

beauty arrives like

it was always going to.

Despite the darkness,

the light returns.

Despite your loss,

your heart will be

full again.

Despite the breaking,

your heart will feel

like it belongs in the

land of joy once more.

This is how it will

always be. Keep living.
