Deepawali
As the festival season begins and continues here in India, I wish all of you loads of love, light and happiness. May the money gods shower you with all their might and may you have the best time of the year with loves ones.
Hello hello,
Hope the festivities have kept you busy for good!
As the festival season begins and continues here in India, I wish all of you loads of love, light and happiness. May the money gods shower you with all their might and may you have the best time of the year with loves ones.

This festive season don’t forget to take time out to give your loved ones a tight hug and send a prayer of thanks to whatever higher being or power you believe in for these amazing souls that make sure whether you are around or far way in another country you are well taken care of. Thank your stars for these amazing humans who always think of you in prayers and ensure you never go to sleep with a tear rolling down your cheeks.
Also take some time our to go and do a good deed for those less fortunate than us. We may not be millionaires but we definitely can spare a little bit of our savings to appreciate the work our security guards and housekeeping personnel to even on holidays to ensure our lives go on uninterrupted and stress free.
As you bask in the light of Diwali I leave you with this cute little piece by Melissa Abott.
Deepawali
Late autumnal winds
Douse our shore like frothy waves
Leaving speckled shells
Of elation and the coming winter.
It is the festive season
Before it is autumn,
Of the bright ebbing Diya flame
Illuming vivid Rangoli colours.
Little Diwali stars
Of the bright festive lights
Drape buildings like golden veils,
Blinking against inky black.
Differrent years have passed
For different lives
And yet we don the festive spirit
With each other; like every time
Golden bright flames
Of the lanterns in the sky
Engulf the evening gloom
Like wisdom banishing crudeness.
Lights turn apposite to Deepawali
not with sporadic glare of fireworks,
with the floating lanterns,
Or with the bright candle flame;
Diwali becomes the festival of lights
Only when goodwill
Crowns the wick
Of the true Diya in the heart.
Have a great festive season!
